I have been working professionally for 10 years, primarily Seattle, and previously in Minneapolis where I attended the Minneapolis College of Art + Design. My work has ranges from branding and identity design to merchandise and packaging, and for five years I managed an in-house creative department which included a little bit of everything.
I am passionate about using design to create a better world, whether in thinking sustainably or using design-thinking methodologies to better tackle social challenges. For that reason, I served as Design for Good Director of AIGA Seattle, and was primarily focused on the Changemaker Series.
I love organizing information, adventuring around on two wheels, and am obsessed with books about cities. Growing up I spent a lot of time in my dad’s shop or on projects at home, so whenever I have downtime I try to learn a new craft or skill to satisfy that inherent need to work with my hands.
